WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH

Mental health to me is just what it sounds like health care for your MENTAL. The mind is very powerful and if you are not in control it can create a path of its own, often different from the one set for yourself.

 

How to identify it?

Experiencing long periods extremely high or low moods such as sadness or irritability, excessive fear, worry, or anxiety.

  • Extreme feelings of guilt

  • Withdrawal from friends and activities.

  • Significant tiredness, low energy or problems sleeping.

  • Dramatic changes in eating or sleeping habits.

 

Things that help

  • Stay Active- staying active doesn't only help physically

  • Be conscious

  • Journal

  • Treat yourself with kindness and respect

  • Avoid self-criticism

  • Take care of your body

  • Surround yourself with good people

  • Learn stress managment

  • Find something that brings you peace

  • Set goals you can reach
